Movies show every Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings at 7:00 pm. Theater is also available for live performances and other events. Call 620.582.2705 for weekly events and movie titles.
 
From the beautiful original tin ceiling to the smallest detail of the Indian art the Chief demonstrates the uniqueness of Coldwater. The Chief Theater stage will accommodate local productions, lectures and other live entertainment.  Now on the Kansas and National Registry of Historic Places, the Chief Theater has continued to
serve the community for over 80 years. From its humble beginnings,
boasting a "ladies rest room" and Art Deco interior, to the addition of
the Native American motif painted by Don Nicholas in 1947, to the recent renovations, the Chief Theater remains a popular weekend stop for first run movies and all sorts of community events and lectures for the community and explorers alike.
