The Chanute Art Gallery includes more than 1,500 square foot of exhibit space and houses a permanent core collection that includes 25 mediums, representing 135 artists.

From Children's Art Month to the annual Neosho Valley Art Exhibit, visitors to the Chanute Art Gallery can view an ever-changing art collection. The core collection includes items from the Luigi Kasimir etchings, the Kansas Prairie Printmakers and European and Oriental art. From sculptures to oil paintings to quilts, art lovers can immerse themselves in the beauty and creativity on display at the Chanute Art Gallery.

The Chanute Art Gallery founded the annual Artist Alley Festival, which will celebrate its 41st year in 2010. It is held on the last Saturday in September in downtown Chanute.

The gallery is open Monday-Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m., but hours may vary as it is completely volunteer run. Please call ahead at 620.431.7807 to confirm.
