Parks Galore

With five parks, a lake, a pond and more, Chanute has lots to offer those who enjoy the great outdoors. In addition, there is a public golf course located in one of the parks.

Santa Fe Depot

One of the largest Santa Fe Depots in this area is located in Chanute. It has been renovated with private funds and now houses the Martin and Osa Johnson Safari Museum and the Chanute Public Library.

Tioga Suites Hotel

The Tioga Hotel was built in 1926 and was one of the first completely fire-proof structures in the state. The building is now home to the Tioga Suites Hotel with two restaurants located inside the hotel. It is listed on the National Historic Register.
