About this Exploration: Since 1884 there has been a Christmas Eve Mass at St. Martins with a few exceptions. Once was during the Black Out during WW II and another when St. Martin's was closed and changed to an Oratory. In 2007 St. Martin once again was opened for Christmas Eve Mass. The church was literally filled to the rafters. The choir loft held the overflow and there was standing room only. People were turned away. In 2009 there was a blizzard...folks braved the storm. The church was once again full although several had to pulled out of snow drifts on the way home. The parish of St. Martins past and present has always welcomed folks. That tradition that continues today. Come join us!  Deacon Ted Stahl reads "The Night Before Jesus" to the children while Father Watcher watches.
