The second Friday of every May, all of the towns in McPherson County come to McPherson to participate in the annual All Schools Day parade on Main Street. Every county high school enters a float with royalty. Marching bands, clowns, horses and much, much more participate in this hour-long parade. ASD will celebrate its 100th year in 2013. The festival goes on all week with two May Fete shows, a Maypole dance, silly skill competitions, carnival and a movie in the park.
