About this Exploration: Displays in the 1856 stone home of Humboldt's first mayor range from baseball heroes, Walter Johnson and George Sweatt, to Monarch cement manufacturing. Also on the grounds are a replica of an early twentieth century one-room school house and a pole building containing farm machinery, and much, much more for your journey into the past. The tools-of-the-trade building houses many machines and tools of the past and the annex houses replicas of circus wagons. Open June through the second weekend in October Saturday-Sunday 1:30-4 p.m. or by appointment. |
