McKinley & K-96 on 17th Street About this Exploration:  Veterans Memorial Park consists of 78 acres. It's a fishing lake, limited boating (paddle boat, conoe, and kayak rental available), ball field complex (one concession stand complete with restrooms and dressing rooms, one lighted baseball field, three lighted softball fields, Little League field), tennis courts (four lighted), shelter houses complete with grills and tables, physical fitness trail, walking trail with floating bridge, handicap accessible floating fishing dock, Avenue of Flags, assorted play equipment, sand beach, and restrooms.
