About this Exploration:

Looking south, you'll see Delphos and Minneapolis, and to the west, Glasco, Simpson, and Beloit. Ottawa, Cloud, and Mitchell counties joined here, spread in a breathtaking view.

Before reaching the crest of the hill, it is possible to turn off to the south and travel on the older, higher 1/2 mile of 24, a natural turnout where you can park and absorb the view of the Solomon Valley.

We do not tire of the views of the valley. When in Glasco, travel south from town on Haynes Street to the Pike Monument, or north from town on Haynes, to White Hill. From these high points Easter sunrises, summer sunsets, and numberless stars are watched. Explorers with time for celestial observations might consider an evening on White Hill.
