Email Address: tours@atchisonkansas.net About this Exploration:  Atchison's favorite daughter, pioneering aviatrix Amelia Earhart, is immortalized in this one-acre portrait designed by famed Kansas artist Stan Herd. The portrait, which lies on a hillside overlooking Warnock Lake, is composed of permanent plantings, stone and other materials. A viewing deck on a nearby hilltop provides the best ground views of the earthwork.
